We Narrowed Down the Dopest Rides and Custom Wheels

This is SEMA – The Specialty Equipment Market Association which takes place every year in Las Vegas. What’s cool about SEMA is it’s not just the latest models from the Top Brands like average auto shows. It’s all about aftermarket parts , custom wheels and suppliers that turn ordinary rides into custom machines.

In other words, SEMA showcases new concepts in the way people customize their vehicles more than it being a show for concept vehicles alone.

At SEMA you’ll see custom rides that look like the builder had an infinite budget. Aside from the latest parts upgrades, custom wheels, vinyl wraps, exhausts, suspension, and literally every nut and bolt. Mainstream Brands also showcase a few of their concepts and pre-production vehicles at SEMA. It’s everything from the small ‘mom and pop’ projects to more involved backyard builds. Some of our favorites are always the restoration mods. Like a Mercedes or BMW from the 70s, lowered with some tasteful BBS mesh wheels.

In every corner, you’ll find the man next to his machine sharing his build story.

Interestingly, SEMA is not about the 200,000 Hondas and Toyotas that sell this year. These aftermarket parts makers and distributers focus on the 20,000 Chevy Camaros that sold in 2016 or the Ford Mustangs or Dodge Challengers. Because those are the models that are likely to attract the custom wheels and aftermarket part enthusiast. Most engine performance upgrades are done to a Dodge Challenger as opposed to a Honda Civic, even though Civics sell far more.

When dealing with custom wheels Brands worldwide, it’s good to be present at this annual event. Instead of calls or emails to chase down a contact, they come to you, so to speak.

In our effort to keep an updated list of Wheel Brands, the SEMA auto show will continue to be a destination every first week of November.
